Intermediate results out

As said earlier, Board of Intermediate (BIE) released the intermediate first year results on Wednesday and Kadiyam Srihari released those results in a press meet.

The pass percentage of the first year intermediate results is 55.64. Compared to the previous 2 years this is slightly increased. The total students who attended the exam were 4 lakhs, 31 thousand and 363 and out of them 2 lakhs, 39 thousand, 954 students are declared to be passed in the examination.

Few trends are never changing in these examinations, among them one is, girls are continuously top in securing good results compared to boys since years, and Nalgonda being the last position regarding the results. In 2015 results too, the trend is as usual, the girls topped the results and Nalgonda stood in the last position again.

Coming to the re verification of the results, the intermediate board announced May 22nd as the last date to submit the applications. Any further discrepancies will not be entertained after the specific date, the board said.

Kadiyam Srihari, the Telangana minister congratulated all the students who cleared the exam and wished all the success for their future.

It is to be recognized that this is the first time to announce the intermediate results after bifurcation of  the Andhra Pradesh into Telangana and separate Andhra Pradesh. So at this time the increase of the pass percentage is definitely a good start in Telangana state. Hope this trend continues by attaining a very good pass percentage in the many more future years to come.
