Congress eyes Two MLC seats

Telangana Congress party is still quite strong in South Telangana and has its eyes on the two MLC seats of Nalgonda district. Congress is sketching strategies to win these two seats despite heavy competition from the ruling TRS party. However, AICC general secretary Ramachandra Khuntia has called for a collective effort to strengthen the party in Telangana.

Observing the membership registration drive in Nalgonda district, Khuntia asked the leaders of Nalgonda district to work together for the MLC elections. Khuntia said, Congress has faced many crisis situations and leaders leaving the party is no new. Despite granting separate Telangana, Congress could not win the elections due to various reasons and these loopholes should identified and addressed. He asked the party workers, supporters and well-wishers not to panic about the future of Congress and expressed confident that Congress will bounce back at the right time.

Telangana PCC chief Ponnala, CLP leader Jana Reddy, working president Uttam Kumar Reddy, MP Gutta Sukender Reddy were present at the event.
