This 60 year old who hails from Patiala in Northern India spends around six hours early in the morning to get ready. You might wonder, why he takes so much time. He puts a turban about 100 pounds and measures around 2,115 feet, which is the same length as 13 Olympic swimming pools.

Meet, Avtar Singh Mauni who follow Sikhism and his turban is no ordinary one. As of now, he stands to break the world record for largest turban. This turban is multicolored and decorated with silver ornaments and they alone weigh an extra 87 pounds. Apart from in the nights, all the day time, Avtar Singh is seen with the turban and he never feels that it is a burden to him.
In fact when asked about wearing such huge turban, the 60 year old replies, he feels strange if he is without it. “On the rare times I don’t have my turban on, I keep getting this feeling of being incomplete, that some part of me is missing,” says Avtar Singh.
