Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal was again slapped in a public meeting and this time a auto drive attacked the ex-CM of Delhi.
While campaigning in Sultanpuri, north-west Delhi, Kejriwal was in an open jeep. An unknown man reached Kerjiwal and smacked his cheek. AAP supporters pulled the attacker down and thrashed him. The police intervened in the issue and took the accused to hospital after being beaten up by AAP workers.
Kejriwal took this issue on Twitter and questioned whether violence is the only solution for all problems. “I am just thinking - why am i being repeatedly attacked? Who r the masterminds? What do they want? What do they achieve? Is violence an answer to country's problems? let them tell me place n time. I will come there. Let them beat me as much as they want...... but will that solve the problems? Sachai ki dagar badi kathin hai. Par last mein jeet to sachai ki hoti hai,” tweeted Kejriwal.
However, Kejriwal went ahead with his campaign program.
This is the second incident in last four days. Meanwhile AAP leader Ashutosh has alleged that BJP is behind this repeated attacks and claimed it as his personal view rather than party opinion.
