Speeches Do Not Solve Problems- Sonia

UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi commented today that the problems of the people are not solved with speeches.

As the polling date is coming closer, the main contesting party leaders are engaging in the war of words in their speeches in the State of Madhya Pradesh.

Sonia Gandhi who spoke in the election campaign in Madhya Pradesh today criticized the BJP and also the Chief Minister of the State Shivraj Patil.  Referring to the speeches of Narendra Modi, she said that nothing can be achieved through speeches.  She says that development cannot be expected with speeches alone.

Sonia Gandhi complained that UPA Government’s schemes are not properly implemented in the State which deprived the people of the State of the benefits due to them.  She expressed her belief that the hearts of the voters cannot be won with words.

It is a fact that the speeches of Narendra Modi are captivating and getting good response from the public.  If the speeches do not really win votes, is it not an advantage to the opposition parties?  Is it not a point of concern to the speakers rather than to opposition parties?
