Mothers on Primary School Committees

Parents of the students will be take part in the Education Committee of the schools in future.  This is announced by the Primary Education Minister Sailajanath in Palakol.   

He said that he will take the issue in the Cabinet Meeting to discuss and implement it.  The Minister said that in the participation of the parents, mothers of the students will be given preference.  

The Minsiter while attending some functions at Palakol, West Godavari district accompanied by the local MLA Bangaru Usharani, said that the education is at par with the private schools but there is a need to make some reforms in the education system.  In order to make a qualitative approach towards education, Sailajanath said, the Government is planning to employ one teacher for every 10 students.  

Sailajanath expressed his confidence that the education system will cater the educational needs of the poor and backward with the participation of the parents in running the committee.
