Because of lack of Government schools the un-recognized schools mushroomed in the Urban Mandals of the District. A penalty of Rs. The commercial activity in the schools like selling of bags, shoes etc are banned by the Government. It is said that surprise check will be conducted from time to time by the Education Department and heavy penalties will be levied on the violators as it is against the Right to Education (RTE) Act.
