Left parties announced a State wide bundh on 9th April to mark protest against the hiked electricity charges.
Feeling unhappy over the announcement of bearing 830 crores of rupees by the State Government out of the 6173 crores of expected revenue from electricity billing, CPI State Secretary Narayana called it as a number game to fool the public. Narayana questions the integrity of the Government that turned a blind eye towards small scale industries sector that is not included in considering the subsidy on electricity to be born by the State.
After releasing wall posters for the bundh call, Narayana appealed every one to cooperate and make the event successful.
