Finance minister Aanam Ramnarayana Reddy is all set to introduce the financial budget for the current year in the assembly today. The scheduled time of introducing the budget is around 10.30 am. This budget would be introduced in the legislative assembly by minister C Ramachandraiah. For the first time ever in the history of the state, a special budget has been designed for agricultural sector. This special agricultural budget would be introduced in the assembly by minister Kanna Lakshminarayana while Sridhar Babu would introduce the same in the legislative assembly.

Speaking about the budget, chief minister Kiran Kumar has said that this is the most acceptable budget by the people. He has also said that irrigation water has been given due importance in this budget compared to the previous one. Expressing his views on agricultural budget, he has said that this is the first time in the history of the state that the government was introducing special budget for agricultural sector.

Meanwhile, assembly sessions started off today amidst uproar from the opposition parties on various issues. The speaker has turned down the different motions moved by the opposition leaders after which the legislators barged into the speaker's podium and raised slogans. Therefore, speaker Nadendla Manohar has adjourned the sessions to 10 am.
