The final journey of the founder of Dr Reddy's Laboratories, Dr Anji Reddy has just begun from his residence in Banjara Hills. A large number of VIPs from pharmaceutical industry and entrepreneurship are taking part in the final journey for giving a royal send off to the man who made Hyderabad a capital of Indian pharmaceutical industry.

The cremation of Anji Reddy is scheduled to take place in sometime at the famous Panjagutta Smashana Vatika. It may be recalled that Anji Reddy set up Reddy Labs way back in 1980s with barely Rs. 24 lakh and the company's worth is now around Rs.30,000 crore. People who worked in his industry even set up their own pharmaceutical companies, which made him get the tag 'pioneer of Indian pharma.' As Anji Reddy gets a royal send-off, Andhra Wishesh pays rich tributes to him.
