BJP expresses displeasure over budget

BJP state president Kishan Reddy has expressed his displeasure over the budget for the current year, which was introduced by finance minister P Chidambaram in Lok Sabha today. He has termed the budget as disappointing and questioned as the absence of measures taken to improve power generation and irrigation.

He has said that the country was facing acute power supply shortage and stressed the importance of uninterrupted power supply. Also, he said it was not fair to increase the prices of two wheelers as middle class depend on motor cycles to commute. Further, he mentioned that Chidambaram remained silent on measures taken to bring black money to India from foreign banks.

Not just BJP but even TDP expressed its dissatisfaction over the budget. How Congres going to cope up with the criticism has become a million dollar question now.
