Railway budget: Expectations escalate in state

The minister of railways, Pawan Kumar Bansal is all set to introduce railway budget for the current year in Lok Sabha. Expectations are reportedly high this year from leaders of Andhra Pradesh who are looking forward to some new trains and tracks in Andhra Pradesh. Notably, the observers said that Andhra Pradesh has been apparently ignored in railway budget every time. There would be maximum one or two trains that would be added to the current fleet but no extra lines would be added, added observers.

The minister of state for railways, Kotla Surya Prakash Reddy has said that after 17 years a leader from Congress party is introducing the budget. He has even said that due importance would be given to Andhra Pradesh in this railway budget. Since MoS for railways hails from Andhra Pradesh, the analysts opined that some new lines might come up this year.

One is not sure whether Andhra Pradesh would be given priority in railway budget or not. To know the same, one should wait for another couple of minutes. Keep your fingers crossed till then.
