Zero tolerance after 1

The city police in Hyderabad permitted just an hour after twelve in the city. Cyberabad commissioner Dawaraka Tirumala Rao has said that he cases would be filed against those found celebrating new year after 1 am tomorrow. Also, he has said that action would be taken against the people found indulging in sleazy and obscene dances. Mentioning about zero tolerance today towards drink and drive, the commissioner has said that checking would go on. Police cases would be registered against those who drink and drive.

It may be noted that the police already laid down restrictions. The fly-overs in the city would be closed between 10 pm and 1 am. Meanwhile, youth in the city are posting to their social networking websites and appealing them to refrain from celebrating new year eve as a mark of protest against the heinous crime that claimed the life of 23-year-old girl in Delhi. One has to wait and watch how the new year celebrations would go on this year.
