Is he above law?

Congress is in an embarrassing position in Minister Dharmanna Prasada Rao case. The government expressed its dissent over the prosecution of the R&B minister to the CBI. The investigating agency had named the minister as Accused No 5 in the Jagan's case and sought his remand.

Many controversies started taking shape as the Accused no 4 and 6 were prosecuted and Dharmana was shielded by the ruling party. The CBI had appealed in the court on the issue and in turn the case would be taken up for hearing in a couple of days.

Reacting to the situation the TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu lashed out at the ruling party for safe-guarding erring minister. Babu said that on what grounds the minister is evading arrests. While not blaming the CBI, Babu was vociferous on the ruling party's attitude and high handedness.

On the other hand, CBI submitted a ninety pages petition to the court which cited various cases that were appealed in the Supreme Court of India and the copies of the orders issued also enclosed. All this is putting the already troubled Kiran 'sarkar' in hassles. (Wishesh AarKay)
