Cong not weak: Azad

AICC in charge of AP affairs, Gulam Nabi Azad has said that Congress party was not weak in Andhra Pradesh. He has said that development in the country took place only under the leadership of Congress party. To make a point, he said Congress safeguards the interests of all regions and religions. Also, he said Congress was moving towards glory under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi.

Azad made these statements at the public meeting in Hyderabad. Hailing the United Progressive Alliance (UPA), Gulam Nabi Azad said it was Congress that constructed roads even in tense remote areas. Also, he said Congress would have the power to make any legislation in case it gets complete majority.

It may be noted that Gulam Nabi Azad arrived in Hyderabad on Saturday to take part in today's public meet. He is scheduled to leave for Delhi after the culmination of the meeting.
