Congress pillars came down: Peddireddy

Congress legislator Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, who recently lashed out at chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, has said that he would tender his resignation as an MLA to the Governor ESL Narasimhan.

Peddireddy stressed that the pillars of Congress party were came down. He has also alleged that Kiran sarkar was inefficient one.  According to sources, Peddireddy would handover his resignation to the speaker and Governor tomorrow.

The sources said Peddireddy was planning to join some other political party as it's known TDP, TRS and YSRC long back have thrown its doors to leaders from other parties.

If we analyze the past records, Peddireddy reportedly never had good terms with late YSR and their rivalry was more or less known to everyone. So, he may not join YSRC. He will not join TRS either since he doesn't hail from Telangana. Therefore, he's most likely to join TDP.

It's evident that TDP has been receiving overwhelming response. Although some leaders from TDP migrated to some other parties, TDP still has good image in the public. It was clearly reflected in Vastunna Meekosam padayatra. So, chances are bright for TDP coming to power in 2014, said observers.

Upon noticing the same, Peddireddy might have taken this drastic step to resign as an MLA, said observers. However, whether he would continue in Congress as a worker or join TDP has become a million dollar question now.
