Governor condoles Erran Naidu's death

Andhra Pradesh Governor ESL Narasimhan has expressed his condolences over the sudden demise of TDP leader and former MP Erran Naidu. Other prominent leaders from other parties too expressed their vain over the death of the strong leader from Srikakulam district. Leaders who condoled the death of Erran Naidu include BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu, CPM state secretary BV Raghavulu and even a few TRS leaders. TRS party leaders stated that it was due to the efforts of Erran Naidu that TDP gave a letter in favour of Telangana in the past.

Speaking about Erran Naidu, Governor has said that the state had lost an efficient political leader. He recalled the services of Erran Naidu as a parliamentarian and legislator. Lok Satta party chief and PCC chief D Srinivas too condoled the death of Erran Naidu. It may be noted that Erran Naidu was killed in a road accident in the wee hours of Friday when the vehicle in which he was travelling dashed an oil tanker near Ranasthalam of Srikakulam district. He was 56 and survived by a son and a daughter. His son Ram, who went to US for higher education, reportedly took a flight to reach Srikakulam. Erran Naidu's body would be kept at his residence in Srikakulam district till today evening. A large number of people are likely to throng his house to have a final glimpse of late leader and to give him a royal send-off.
