Dubbing artiste Chinmayi  Sripada (who gave dubbing for Samantha in Ye Maya Chesave) has filed a police complaint against her six tweet pals. Perhaps this is the first time in the history of Twitter wherein a user filed cases against followers. Among the six followers, one happens to be a professor at the prestigious National Institute of Fashion Design (NIFT).

The professor was taken into the custody following the complaint. In her complaint, Chinmayi stated that she faced life threats from the followers. She said the followers even spread the rumours that Chinmayi was against Tamils. A case was filed against the followers under IT Act.
