Rayapati meets Shinde

Congress MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao has today met the union home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde. He has reportedly told Shinde that he would abide by the decision that would be taken by the Congress on leadership in the state. He has also said that he would stay with the party irrespective of whatever decision it takes. Later, he spoke to the media wherein he said that Congress high command was closely observing the functioning of the party and the government in the state. While there have been many speculations over a leadership change in the state, several leaders ruled out the same. However, the speculators' arguments got strengthened after the news that Congress high command is likely to send a special team to AP to study the situation in the state. And sources said that the team would even look into the leadership change demand too. If the same takes place, who would become the chief minister has become the talk of the town. While some some said people like Jana Reddy were in the queue, several political observers stressed Chiranjeevi should be made the chief minister in order to pin up hopes of retaining power in 2014. Lets wait and watch whether Congress would act smartly and make Chiru the CM.
