Tense atmosphere prevailed at a municipal school in Kadapa when a large number of parents-who gathered outside the campus-created ruckus. The relatives and parents of students at Urdu Municipal High School in Kadapa alleged that their wards were subjected to harassment by a male teacher. The sources said the issue came into light when the accused Khaleel-who was a mathematics teacher-asked the tenth standard student to come to classroom on the pretext of private class. The girl, who apparently notice she was the lone person in the classroom, reportedly smelled the evil instincts of the teacher. She somehow escaped from his wild clutches. But by then he was said to have misbehaved with her.

The victim, on reaching her home, elucidated the incident to her parents who in turn approached the student associations. They soon presumably gathered a few more relatives of other students and approached the school and raised slogans against the teacher. In a fit of rage, the mob ransacked the office and damaged the furniture.  The circle inspector Nageshwar Reddy arrived at the spot and ensured that stringent action would be taken against the accused if his guilt was proved. And the relatives, guardians and parents withdrew they agitation after they got the assurance.
