Hyderabad based shooter Gagan Narang, who won a silver medal in the Olympics, has met sports minister Vatti Vasanth Kumar at secretariat in Hyderabad today. The minister congratulated Gagang Narang for making the country proud. He has also said that the state government would take all steps to ensure that the sports in the state are developed.

It may be noted that Gagan Narang and Saina Nehwal, who won Olympic bronze medals, hail from Andhra Pradesh. And state government already gave them cash prizes while the duo would take another Rs.25 lakh each from Rajasthan government for winning bronze medals.
