AP to host WTC after 37 yrs

Chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has held a high level meeting over the arrangements for World Telugu Conference, which will be held in Andhra Pradesh after a gap of 37 years. Earlier, this conference was held in 1975.  CM convened the special meet at the secretariat and decided to spend Rs. 25 crore for the programme, which will take place in Tirupati between December 27 and December 29. Minister Vatti Vasanth Kumar and other temple authorities have taken part in the meeting.

Meanwhile, Vatti Vasanth Kumar has said that the government has taken a decision for renovating Lalitha Kala Academy. He has also said that old age pensions would be hiked for artistes.
