ED granted permission to question Jagan

The Enforcement Directorate was granted permission to question the prime accused in illegal assets case Jaganmohan Reddy. ED officials wanted to question Jagan pertaining to the alleged irregularities taken place in Jagati Publications, which apparently violated FEMA and money laundering acts. Since Jaganmohan Reddy has been under judicial custody in connection with other corruption case, which has been probe by CBI, ED required permission to enquire Jagan.  It has filed petition to enquire Jagan on June 15 itself. And today, the court granted permission to the Enforcement Directorate officials.

Meanwhile, ED earlier declared that they would question Jaganmohan Reddy only as a witness. It may be noted that Jaganmohan Reddy would be in judicial custody till July 18. His bail plea was also quashed by the High Court.
