Hearing on narco analysis petition deferred

The CBI Court has deferred the petition on narco analysis test by CBI on Jagan. The court, which earlier posted the hearing of this petition to today, has deferred the hearing to July 3. It is known that CBI approached the court and sought permission to conduct narco analysis (brain mapping) test on two of the accused in the illegal assets case—Jaganmohan Reddy and Vijayasai Reddy on June 11 when the initial judicial custody to Jagan was concluded.  Jagan's custody was extended to June 25.

What was the reaction of Jagan's counsels?
The counsels of Jaganmohan Reddy was opposed to the idea of narco analysis test. They raised objections and pin pointed it as the contempt of court. They cited Supreme Court's view on narco analysis tests. The CBI Court, which has accepted the petition, however told the counsels of Jagan to filed a counter petition by June 14. As per the orders of the court, Jagan's advocates moved counter petition on the said date and the hearing on CBI's petition was defered to June 21 then. Today, everyone were anxious as to what the decision of the court would be and the hearing was further deferred to July 4.
