Jagan illegal assets case: CBI custody extended

The High Court, which has been trying Jagan’s illegal assets case, has nodded to extend Jagan’s CBI custody by another two days. CBI will continue to question Jaganmohan Reddy on June 9 and 10. It may be noted that High Court on Saturday granted CBI’s plea and permitted them to take Jagan into their custody for five days starting from Sunday. Jagan’s custody concluded on Thursday and CBI approached the court for seeking the extension. Yesterday, the CBI sleuths have also questioned minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah in connection with the case.
