Bobbili MLA resigns from Congress, assembly

As expected the Bobbili MLA Venkata Sujay Krishna Ranga Rao Ravu has formally resigned his membership from the ruling Congress party, today at Bobbili. Mr Ranga Rao was elected twice from the same constituency which was considered, the iron hold of the Congress. In spite of the success the MLA was not duly recognized and was in the shadow of the PCC Chief & Co, say sources. The suffocation could have led to this dissent. Anyhow as of now the leader has resigned the assembly membership and that of the party membership too. He is to join the YSR Congress confirm his close associates.

This would be a major setback to the party feel sources, as some time earlier the PCC Chief claimed that not one MLA from his Vizianagaram district will join YSR Congress. But this dissent goes on to prove it as a hollow statement.

Sources say that the leader has a staunch following in the area and is speculated that the ruling party might loose about 4500 activists and 100 leaders in the district. (With Inputs from Internet- Aarkay)
