TDP chief Mr Chandrababu Naidu said today he would not speak against Telangana henceforth and demanded the Centre to take an immediate decision on the issue.

Launching the TDP campaign in the Mahaboobnagar assembly constituency for the March 18 by polls, Naidu said Telangana should be granted by the Congress party and it should take a decision as soon as possible.

“But, will you get Telangana with frequent by elections?” he asked voters in a public meeting at Mahaboobnagar.

In another development, Lok Satta chief Jayaprakash Narayana also announced he would support the formation of the Telangana state in a totally congenial atmosphere. Speaking to media persons at Mahaboobnagar today, he said development could be possible with smaller states and there shouldn’t be any bitter feelings among any section of people during the formation of separate states anywhere.

Jayaprakash also said there should not be any money and muscle power in elections. “The people, especially youth are being made scapegoats in Telangana,” he said, adding these tendencies should be eliminated from elections.( J)
