31 people were killed and 24 others injured in a series of explosions and shooting incidents across Baghdad this morning.

Reports said most of the explosions and shooting incidents were targeted at police and other security personnel.

Attacks on police were also reported from Baqouba, Kirkuk and Salahuddin provinces in Iraq.
