CBI to sift YSR, Jagan phone calls

CBI officials, investigating the series of scams in the state involving the YSR congress president YS Jaganmohan Reddy, former Karnataka Minister Gali Janardhan reddy and business man Koneru Rajendra Prasad and others, have reportedly sought from mobile service providers the details of telephone conversations made by the late chief minister YSR and Jagan with others from 2004 to 2009.

The CBI officials sought the details of calls made or received by three mobile phone numbers used by YSR and Jagan.

The investigating agency’s sleuths have decided to compare the call details with those numbers of the accused who invested huge amounts in Jagan companies after getting favours from the YSR regime.

Political circles now believe the CBI has decided to leave no stone unturned in ferreting out concrete evidence before finally closing in on Jagan for his alleged misuse of his father’s position as CM and accumulation illegal wealth. (JUBS)
