Janata Party President Subramanian Swamy, who stole the limelight by succeeding in his fight against corruption in the 2G spectrum and getting the licenses cancelled by the Supreme Court, has tweeted that congress president Sonia Gandhi tried to assassinate him in 2006.
His tweet says that Sonia made attempts against him twice at Rae Bareli and Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh. He also claimed he possessed proof for his allegation against Sonia in the form of FIRs which were filed six years back.
“Sonia made her first two assassination attempts against me on April 23, 2006 in Rae Bareli and Lucknow and I have the FIR copies,” Swamy said in his tweet. (JUBS)
