Senior IAS officer BP Acharya, who was arrested by the CBI in the Emaar-APIIC land scam on Monday, has been admitted to the NIMS Hospital at Panjagutta in Hyderabad this evening.

The CBI took him to the hospital with the permission of the CBI special court after he complained of heart pain.

A team of doctors, headed by heart specialist Dr Seshagiri Rao, is examining him. (JUBS)
