Two workers were burnt alive and some others received burn injuries in a major fire that broke out at the Bhavani chemical factory at Polepally in Zedcherla Mandalam of Mahaboobnagar district this afternoon.
The reasons for the fire accident are not yet known and two fire tenders are pressed into service to extinguish the fire. Thick columns of smoke were seen billowing out of the factory and the fire men were still trying to extinguish the fire when reports last came in. (JUBS)
