Rajahmundry police today arrested Mr Ganesh, son of the late former minister Mr Jakkampudi Rammohan Rao for his involvement in an accident last month.

Police booked cases against him making him responsible for an accident that took place on Nov 10 near Rajahmundry. Later, when Ganesh was called for questioning, he denied that the car involved in the accident was his.

Police said Mr Ganesh tried to attack them in the police station when called for questioning and said he was responsible for the accident. “The car involved in the accident was also his,” they said. (JUBS)
