CBI probe on Naidu, No comments says Y S Vijayalakshmi

It could disastrous for the TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu, as the CBI, Enforcement Directorate (ED) and state police are ordered to independently probe the allegations that he and his associates amassed wealth by plundering public assets. The investigated report should be submitted within three months to the Andhra Pradesh High Court.  This was the order issued by the apex court on Monday at Hyderabad.

The order was in response to the PIL filed by the widow of former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy and now Pulivendula MLA YS Vijaya Lakshmi in the apex court seeking high level probe into the assets of Mr.  Naidu.

Interestingly it has been a cat and mouse game that is going to cost the lives of all corrupt politicians in the state especially. Each blaming one another other of misappropriation and corruption. And in the process, the impartial pointer turns towards the accuser and the accused. The whole scenario is like a chess board when both are losers.

Infact the TDP wanted to paint the town red with putting up a Mr. Clean image by bringing out a book on the late YSR & Co titled ` The Raja of Corruption’ and another ` The Mining Mafia’. They went all out to prove that they were perfect when the President sat on a day's token fast to express solidarity with the anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare during the latter's hunger strike in August. The propaganda played well with people’s mind, but the oppositions back fired on Mr. Naidu. One such repercussion is the PIL.

Diplomatically Ms. YSV said no comments on the court’s order when questioned by the media, after the judgment.

So at last trouble starts brewing in Mr.Naidu’s tea cup and along with him his corporate friends who were predominant during his era, are also going to the sour tea taste.
