Srilakshmi lobbying to avoid arrest?

Even as the CBI is determined to close in on the senior IAS officer Ms Srilakshmi and arrest her in the illegal mining case involving the former Karnataka Minister Gali Janardhan reddy, she is reportedly trying to avoid her arrest through some lobbying.

Highly placed sources told andhrawishesh.com that Srilakshmi, presently camping at her sister’s residence in Chennai after applying for leave, has already approached the IAS officers’ association president Mr Bhale Rao and sought his help in ensuring that she is not arrested by the CBI.

She is also reportedly seeking the help of PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana and mega star turned congress politician Mr Chiranjeevi to use their good offices with the congress party president Sonia Gandhi and other higher-ups at the Center to avoid her arrest in the case.

She has been trying to convince them that she is a mother of two daughters and her arrest at this point would cause some disturbance for them.

Andhrawishesh.com learns that the two leaders along with Mr Bhale Rao have already taken up her case but how far they would be successful in avoiding her arrest is really doubtful.
