2 AP students drown in Dhanbad waters

Two students of AP were drowned in deep waters at a water fall near Dhanbad in Jharkhand where they were on a picnic along with some other students on Sunday.

 

The two students, who were pursuing their degree course in the Indian School of Mines at Dhanbad, are identified as Gowtham of Kukatpally in Hyderabad and Ashok of Governor pet in Vijayawada.

 

Reports said 8 students opted to go on the picnic on Sunday and the two AP students were part of the picnic group. Ashok slipped into deep waters during his bath at the waterfall near a hillock and Gowtham jumped into the waters to save his classmate.

 

Police said both of them were drowned in deep waters. Rescue teams have recovered their bodies this morning. The management of the Indian School of Mines has informed their parents and is trying to send the bodies to their native places in AP.
