Well known multi-lingual actor Sonu Sood will pay a visit to Tirumala on Nov 2 along with his family members and close friends to seek the blessings of Lord Balaji.

Reports said that Sonu Sood’s family has to fulfill a vow on Tirumala on behalf of his younger son. Sonu is presently in Chennai shooting for the Bollywood film ‘Osthi’. Sources at the shooting spot also confirmed that that the actor will directly go to Tirupathi from Chennai and to Tirumala from there.

The family will perform the mundan ceremony of his younger son on Tirumala and have darshan of the Almighty. Mundan ceremony is performed by tonsuring the head for purifying the child and removing his sins of the past life, if any.

Mundan is considered as a sacred ritual where the child will have his first hair cut.
