Kanumuri Bapiraju is new TTD chief Contrary to earlier reports that congress leader Rayapati Sambasiva Rao or mega star Chiranjeevi’s brother -in-law Mr Allu Aravind would be made the chairman of the TTD Trust board, Chief Minister Kirankumar Reddy on Thursday appointed Narsapur congress MP Mr Kanumuru Bapi Raju as the new chairman of the TTD Trust Board that would run the affairs of the Lord Balaji temple on the Tirumala Hills.

The term of the TTD specified authority ended on Wednesday and the new board will take over shortly.

Three Congress MLAs, Ch Mutyam Reddy from Dubbaka in Medak district, R Suyraprakash Rao of Rajahmundry and P Rajeshwari Devi from Gannavaram of West Godavari were appointed as the members of the reconstituted Board. K V Ramanachary, principal secretary, endowments, and executive officer L V Subramanyam will figure as ex-officio members.
