T activists had hurled eggs on the convoy of Vijayawada congress MP Mr Lagadapati Rajagopal at Palvancha in Khammam district on Sunday. Rajagopal had attended the 10th day ritual of the KLR Educational Academy chairman K.Lakshma Reddy who died of heart attack on July 12.
Telangana activists, who gathered in large numbers after getting advance intimation of Rajagopal’s arrival in Palvancha, attacked his convoy with eggs when he was returning to Vijayawada after paying his last respects at the Samadhi of Lakshma Reddy.
Rajagopal, a hard core protagonist of the united AP, visited the town with a heavy police escort but it did not deter the T activists from hurling eggs on his convoy.
