Naidu goads leaders to work hard

Naidu goads leaders to work hard TDP Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu said today that only hard working people and leaders will have recognition in the party. “Those who do not work hard will have no say in the party,” Naidu declared in his remarks on concluding the 2-day workshop of the party at the NTR Bhavan in Hyderabad.

Calling upon the government to conduct direct elections to the local bodies, Naidu said the congress is terrified of conducting the elections to the local bodies. “The congress has a lurking fear that it would lose the local body elections,” he said addressing his party men.

Hitting out at the TRS, the former chief minister said that some political parties have been collecting money to launch TV channels and newspapers. “Some parties are working with the sole aim of collecting funds,” he said criticizing the TRS.

In his first day’s speech, Naidu asked party men to bring new people into the party. Giving indications that he was going ahead with his plans of revamping the party and all its units, he goaded the leaders to ensure that more youth would join TDP. “Please work to see that all those individuals who have left the party will come back to our fold,” he asked them. “We should take more women and youth to provide a fresh look for the party.”
