Andhra students grabbed seven ranks in the top ten including the first rank in the open category of the IIT-JEE 2011 for which the results were declared today in Hyderabad. Reports said that AP students got 40 in the first hundred ranks.

The names of candidates who attained the ranks are Mr Pridhivi Raj (first), Y.Mithun (second), Simanth Reddy (third), Sai Kiran (fourth), Kunal Saha (sixth), Bhargava Reddy (Eighth) and Varun (nine)

While the students who attained the first, second, eighth ninth ranks were trained by the Sri Chaitanya institutions, the remaining three students were trained by the Narayana institutions.
