Several accused persons in high profile cases are on the run making life difficult for the investigating officials. The Central Crime Station has added new names to the list of the absconding people in several cheating and fraud cases.Recently, they have added film producer Singanamala Ramesh to the list of the absconding persons. Police have filed two FIRs against Ramesh after two different individuals have complained against him for cheating and threatening them.
In the two cases, he figures along with Bhanu Kiran who is also on the run after killing faction leader Maddelacheruvu Suri.
Ramesh’s last phone call to his family members was traced to a phone booth in Chennai and he was said to be moving from place to place in Tamil Nadu
and Kerala. The cheating cases against film producers Ramesh and C. Kalyan, along with that of Suri’s murder case, were transferred to the CID.
Dowry case accused Mr Sirish Bharadwaj, the son-in-law of mega star Chiranjeevi, and Mr Eswar Chouhan, an accused in the multi-level marketing fraud, are also added to the list of absconding people.
