PRP president and mega star Chiranjeevi said today that he will take a final decision on the merger of his party with the congress after final discussions with congress party president Sonia Gandhi in Delhi tomorrow.
Briefing media persons before leaving for Delhi this evening, Chiru said he was leaving for Delhi on the invitation of the congress party and will disclose details after meeting Sonia. He said the merger proposals will be discussed with party leaders again before taking a final decision.
Chiranjeevi clarified that the friendship (read it as merger) between PRP and congress will be in such a way that it will benefit both parties.
As for the information available at the moment, Chiru will have a one-to-one-meeting with Ahmad Patel, political secretary to the congress president as soon as reaches Delhi and will meet Sonia Gandhi at 11 am on Sunday. The PRP chief will address a media conference at 1PM.
Pavan meets Chiru
Meanwhile, power star Pavan Kalyan met Chiranjeevi before the latter flew to Delhi this evening and suggested some precautions while holding discussions with congress chief Sonia Gandhi on the merger proposals.
