TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu today chided his party MLA of the Telangana region Mr Revanth Reddy for his errant behaviour in the assembly on the opening day of its budget session on Thursday and asked him to mend his behaviour.
As several TV channels showed clippings of Revanth Reddy trying to pull out the chair of Governor ESL Narasimhan, Chandrababu told him that it would bring disrepute to the party and asked Revanth and other MLAs not to resort to such acts. “Is this the way you should behave in the assembly and especially when governor is present in the house?” the TDP president chided them.
Chandrababu told the MLAs not to take their own decisions but abide by the party decisions on issues, whether they belong to Telangana or Seema Andhra area. “Whatever is the issue, we will discuss here and take a decision and you have to follow the same decision on all platforms,” he frankly told them in a meeting this morning. “If you don’t like the decisions of the party, you can leave it, we won’t mind,” said Chandrababu angrily.
The TDP legislature party meeting later condemned the attacks by the TRS on Lok Satta Chief Jayaprakash Narayana and TDP leaders Motkupally Narasimhulu, Hanumanthu Shinde and Sitakka.
