The health condition of the world renowned spiritual Guru Sri Satya Sai Baba is very much satisfactory, according to the latest medical bulletin issued this evening by Mr Safaya, director of the Satya Sai Super Specialties Hospital at Puttaparthy.

All the vitals are functioning satisfactorily while the condition of kidneys has also improved, Safaya said in a signed bulletin. Explaining that the infection in the lungs has also come down, the doctor said he was hopeful of a speedy recovery by the 85-year old Baba.

Meanwhile, the devotees of the spiritual teacher have also expressed happiness at the improvement being made by Baba. The people of Puttaparthy are also moving now with reduced tensions on their faces. “The news is good, at least the Swami is improving now,” said a villager with a sigh of relief.

After a week of tension and anxiety, business men of Puttaparthy have also begun opening their shutters this morning. “We are sure he will live up to 96 years of age as he had claimed. This is third time he is recovering from serious sickness. In the past also, he came out of danger twice,” said a business man in Puttaparthy.
