Senior TDP leader Errabilli Dayakara Rao today denied news reports in a section of the media that he would quit from the party and assembly seat and would contest again as an independent MLA on the plank of the separate Telangana.
Describing the news stories as a figment of imagination by the media, Dayakara rao told journalists in Hyderabad that he would very much stay in the TDP and still fight for the formation of the separate Telangana state.
“I will not quit TDP under any circumstances,” said Dayakara rao who represents the TDP from the Palakurthy assembly constituency in Warangal district. “We are at liberty to continue the struggle for the state of Telangana while continuing in the TDP.”
He demanded the Centre to introduce the Telangana Bill in the budget session of the Parliament and said TDP members would resort to a dharna out side the Parliament House if necessary for this purpose. “If the Bill is introduced, all our MPs would support it,” Dayakara rao said.
