MRPS activists arrested at Assembly

MRPSPolice today thwarted the attempts of the MRPS workers in Hyderabad to seize the assembly and arrested hundreds of them.

Police were taken aback when the workers suddenly barged towards the assembly when the session was in progress. But police, deployed in the assembly premises as a precautionary measure, arrested and took them to different police stations.

The MRPS, under the leadership of its president Manda Krishna Madiga, has been for long demanding the introduction of the SC classification Bill in the parliament. Manda Krishna Madiga has several times demanded the chief minister Kirankumar reddy to take an all party delegation to the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh on the issue.

Raising slogans against the chief minister and the congress government, the MRPS activists demanded the Centre to introduce the Bill at the earliest in the Parliament.
