Raj Bhavan jubilant UGADI celebrations

The Governor’s residence, Raj Bhavan lights up for Ugadi celebrations today in the state capital. The celebrations that started from Thursday extended till the wee hours of the day. The celebrations included a variety of cultural programs extravaganza. Prominent from all walks of life participated in the celebrations. Sri E.S.L. Narasimhan H.E. the Governor of AP hosted a High Tea on the occasion of Nandana nama Ugadi followed by Bhakti Sangeet at Raj Bhavan on 22-03-2012. The first couple of the state welcomed the guests and enjoyed the celebrations with the distinguished audience. It was a sight to watch the Raj Bhavan's open air facade filled with luminaries who gathered to celebrate the Nandana nama UGADI.

The beeline of prominent guests included notable film stars and political leaders. The VVIPS Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, PCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana and the Congress party Leader K Chiranjeevi spent the evening with their families at the celebrations. The Governor’s palace was decorated to the occasion and the decorations left the visitors enthralled. Noted singer and Indian idol fame, Sri Ramachandra rendered his voice to some famous divine songs. Speaking on the occasion his Excellency Governor Narasimhan said `Shakthi come with Bhakkthi for a man-or in other words, man derives power only after surrendering to God.’(With inputs from internet- AarKay)
