Hearing on Sonia adjourned till April 9

A Delhi Court today adjourned till April 9 hearing on the petition filed by a Telangana based lawyer alleging that congress party president Sonia Gandhi was responsible for the alleged suicides by 700 people in the Telangana area.
The petitioner alleged students and other youth resorted to suicides after the congress party went back on its promise of creating the Telangana state. “Sonia was responsible for the disenchanted youth resorting to the extreme step of sacrificing their lives in the region,” said the advocate in his petition.
The Patiala Court has already issued notices on the issues to Sonia and others. When the case came up for hearing today, the court said it had adjourned further hearing on it till April 9. (J)
