Cottons are our favorite particularly to beat the heat, this season. Cottons would keep us cool and let not the harsh climate affect us, at a major extent. But, maintaining cottons are really a big task... not actually... with simple steps you can maintain cottons at the best and enjoy the beauty and grace of wearing cottons, this season;

Colorful cotton floral dress or sari of yours might have given you more beauty or could be your best choice to wear. But, while washing at least for the first 3 times, you need to take certain care otherwise, the colors will not only fade or get merged with other colors of the print but will also stick on to other dresses if you wash them together. Before washing these clothes, soak them in salt water or in the water in which you have added some vinegar, at least for 15 minutes and then wash separately.

For cotton dresses, is it embroidery or plain, it is better to go for a satin lining otherwise there is a chance of these dresses to lose their stiffness and charm soon. Moreover, if you put on a semi cotton or satin lining, the dresses would not be so stiff and you need not starch and iron them, but just iron and wear the dress.

It is better to wash cottons separately and even dry them in a warm place, not under the harsh sun light. This way, the clothes will retain their beauty for a long time and no chance of their color getting faded.
